hmm tough.
Azal was a very creepy villain, and I loved the story he appeared in.
The Black Guardian was great as well, although his appearance in the JNT era stories were pretty lacklusture to be honest.
I'll go for Azal, as I don't think The Black Guardian really projected as much menace as Azal did. |

I'm OK either way--they're both pretty awesome!

I agree, Azal (chap with the wings) looked very creepy - and to be honest, I think that it is one villainn that has aged well.
Now, to business.
You've got multiple villains up against each other. I don't quite understand how we're supposed to do the voting here, but I'll give it a go. *Please correct me if I fluff the way I vote here*
Zygons were menacing - hard to understand their voices though, and their costumes do look very tacky.
Chameleons were wussies, not really villains - they tun good near the end. And the Ogir were just rocks used by The Cessair of Diplos (Miss Fay) - to be honest, I don't rank any of these villains all that highly.
Best of a not very villainous bunch here has to go to the Zygons. |

This goes back to Cessair and the Ogri vs the Chameleons in round one; they duplicated her and not the rocks work for them! The Zygons can do it, and better--I'd say they go on with the Ogri now obeying their Cessair duplicate!
Colbert vs Lytton the Cyberman. |

Lytton and the Cybermen - excellent villains!!!
The Cybermen were by far the best monsters in Dr Who UNTIL they became monotone sounding idiots (with a warcry like the Daleks - except they say "Delete!") as they have been made out to be in Tennant's series.
I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW CYBERMEN - THEY SUCK!!!!!!!! |

I'm surprised Colbert's made it this far; what's be going to do? Fire a flintlock pistol? Pretned he dosn't understand English no matter how loudly you shout at him? Or the taunting Frenchman routine from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

I agree with Jimmy, the Cybermen get my vote.
I must say I was pretty disappointed with how they were portrayed in the new series. One thing the Cybermen have never been, and thats mindless slaves. I think Davies diluted their power in that one.
Davros wins the next round as well, who could compete with him???

I have to go with Davros. I thought just came to me, Does anyone think that Davros is actually a clone, which is why he keeps surving even after his so called demise. |

Not really; he continues to return in smaller and smaller pieces!
Will no one champion the Drashigs? Sigh.

Eldrad for sure, a very interesting villain - in both sexes!!!
I honestly cant bring myself to vote for any of the McCoy era villains - none of them were any good. |

The McCoy era sucked in all aspects. The villains, the stories, the companions and the production were all lousy!
Regardless of the crappy MCoy era, Eldrad was still a excellent villain - and I can't wait to get The Hand of Fear on DVD.
This one has to go to Eldrad (who MUST live!!!!!) |

Eldrad was quite interesting, Fenric was however behind an entire story arc. Is it possible Eldrad is one of Fenric's agents? No? Eldrad it is then!

Great Intelligence and The Yeti for sure.
Although I found The Yeti more scary in Web of Fear than in their first story. |

Because of the physical difference? They were re-designed to make them less cuddly, hence the strange introductory scene where the dormant Yeti suddenly changes shape! |

What I don't like about the Gods is they had the "old enemy" status tacked on to fit the season theme. When considering The Happiness Patrol I realised they had no pretence to this--and just as well! |

This one has to go to the Yeti and the Great Intelligence!!!!!!
Episode 1 of The Web of Fear is enough to show that the story was a classic - and that by that stage the Yeti/Great Intelligence were exceptional villains.
Stuff the bloody McCoy era - none of it will get a positive vote from me!!!!!!!!!!! |

I agree with Jimmy totally - Web of Fear part 1 was great, such a pity that the rest of it is gone.
I get pretty upset at the thought of the stuff that the BBC threw out in those days, such a waste.
I don't think anything from the McCoy era would get my vote either, although i'd put 'Time & The Rani' as worst Dr Who story of all time. |
