Hi there!
I'm new here and was looking on your events list and noticed that you have a gathering coming up at the Tower Hotel. What goes on at these meetings, who goes and what is the general prerequisite for attendance?
Thank you
Karla

It's informal, as far as the usual hotel and social standards allow. We had an incident with two people disagreeing over a loud (drunken, boorish) conversation some years ago, but they both appear to have died off now, possibly I'll find their dried out husks under the fridge next time I move it.
PS Hello.

Basically it is a social get together, just for a chat, meal and a laugh.
Nothing formal, just for a enjoyable time.

Well if that is so, we would love to come along. It would be myself, Karla, and my 13 year old daughter, Madison. Can you book us in or should we just turn up? April 3! That is the air date of new Who. Will we all sit around and surmise or just get drunk and curse Australian tele for taking so long to catch up? he. How will we know you? Where will you be? Don't want to arrive and wander around looking lost........

We always book under the club name, so no worries. Unlike a certain other Who club who *never* book, consequently when I went to their "tavern" I had to walk around the place showing each group my copy of Doctor Who Magazine. Which probably amused a bunch of patrons.

We have a semi-formal meeting at Adelaide high this Saturday from 3pm if you are interested.

Cheers, and welcome
