Just saw Not Quite Hollywood and I forgot how there were so many movies made in the late 70's and early 80's that were so cheesy. This is a very cool documentary, but be warned you will probably want to watch most of te film in it.
Not Quite Hollywood is brilliant - full of fun about films they simply dont make enough of in this country. It gets me why certain art-house films get all the praise, but more commercially minded ones that bring in much needed cash get ignored or attacked. The cultural cringe is alive and well in Australia these days thats for sure!
I loved watch how Phillip Adam and Bob Ellis hated these film so much.
I want to see Turkey Shoot - it looks funny
I have it it a strange one. that is a fact.
As per living as an Amish or getting marooned on lollipop island it may look kind of amusing, but after a good hour it is revealed as tedious beyond belief.
That's OK, my entertainment prospects go up with every 5th of rum I consume, after an hour, it'll be hilarious.
5th in 1 hour, are you cutting back?
