I have heard over the last few weeks that some "cult classic" (at term I use loosely) are being made.
Police Acadamy Sequel seven
Porky's Remake
Thomas Crown affair Sequel
Remo (Destroyer books) remake
and this is just the start is this the sign of the apocalyps.

If you think that's bad, what about news that Big Momma's House 3 might rear it's hideous head? Surely a production made by Satan himself??

I just saw Basic Instinct 2. I can only hope that No. 3 never gets made.
It was funny seeing what a has been looks like though!

But why do they make sequal or remake crappy films when there are so many good films that could have sequels eg serenity.
I hope sin city will be as good as the first.

The first Sin City was great, very original.
Would love to see a sequel to Serenity, but unfortunately it wasn't much of a financial success at the box office for the studio to do another one.
Studios these days rather go for 'a brand'. Look at the remake of the Pink Panther. Terrible remake, but it went to No. 1 here and in the U.S. and they're making a sequel to that one - go figure!

Can you imagine if they put the two 2gether, you'd have the scarecrow in a suit made out of Jodie Fosters running down the street brandishing a whipper snipper

Remakes include:
The Flash = eh?
Flash Gordon = why mess with perfection?
The Smurfs = time to commit suicide.
Predator = why?
The Dirty Dozen = again, why mess with perfection?
The Fly = see above comment.
Revenge of the Nerds = WTF?
The Swiss Family Robinson = it didn't work the first time
The Three Stooges = humour has changed too much.
Tron = I'm gonna cry
When Worlds Colide = my favourite movie (love George Pal) and this one is being done by Sommers so it should be good.

I swear, the Gimps responsible for dragging Tron into these murky depths need to be locked back into their box.
Is nothing sacred?
Next thing, the Yanks are going to do a sequel to the Bill Of Rights... 'ang on... too late. :|
