I'm looking forward to getting it over and done with so I can sit down and relax with the BBC production again.

I reckon that everyone is thinking this film will be awful and when they see it, it will be half decent and a surprise to us all.

I'm keeping an open mind about HGG, the BBC War of the Worlds will be good, Tom Cruises will be shite.

I'm looking forward to HHG2G - though I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be a 'McWorld'/Hollywood pop cultural product.
I'm pretty sure that Speilberg's War of the Worlds will be a let down (though I'll still see it!) - what with it being set in America, the Martians already living on earth and no sign of 'Victorian' Britain and the atmosphere that Wells' intended for his vision.
I LOVE THE BOOK AND THE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!
Will the BBC film be an authentic adaptation of Wells' masterpiece? If so, I'll be at the cinema with bells on!!!!

My problem with it was getting the 'so long and thanks for all the fish' song stuck in my head.
Wasn't impressed with Zaphod. That's my main gripe
