Who makes the funnier movies?
Do the Australians e.g; Kenny
Do the British? e.g; Hot Fuzz
The Americians? e.g; Blazing Saddles
Asian? For Your Height Only.

The movies are just for examples. I do not say which movie is funnier, just which country MAKES funnier movies.

when you think about the numbers the Yanks release 100 times more movies then most other (Except India) So even they should have something decent once in a while. but the Poms have a good starting line with there great TV comedies.

yeah but the funny American ones are either made by Independents (or small companies) or yea old films i.e. pre 1980's.
Plus the British and Australians have a sense of humour, and the yanks still have not work it out.

Have you ever heard of Eddy Izzard? Supposedly a genius of comedy. Trouble is I`ve never heard or seen him do anything remotely humorous. Suppose it boils down to culture and individual taste.

Tere is always exceptions to the rule.
it also means there is types of humour, that will not appeal to all.
To paraphrase - You can make some of the people laugh some of the time, but you can not make all the people laugh all of the time.

Yes I know of Eddy, but mostlu thru the movies and interviews for the same. And what i have seen did not mke me want to see him at any particular time.
