Dammit! I just checked my diary and I'm gonna be in Sydney that weekend. [sulks]
Thanks for the info, anyway. Shame I'm gonna miss it. Grandfather's 80th, can't skip it.
I've signed up as a member so I assume that puts me on the mailing list. So, how many of you are there? And just how much are you lot into Dr Who?

It's a shame you can't make it, but there's always the regular meeting 2 weeks later.

Also there are other events like movies and so forth which happen throughout the month.  These are usually advertised in the mailing list and sometimes on the website, depending on the event.

So what exactly happens at these meetings? Just a bunch of like minded people getting together or do people bring in their collectables or what? Is there anything I have to bring or do?

Hope to see you there

That was a fun meeting. I'm counting down to the next one already. Damn Tammy with her evil devil horns  tempting me with big screens. Now I'm hanging out till the next screening!

Hmmm, I always thought it was because he never declined and nobody else wanted the job?

Hi

I just joined this website and wanted to connect with other Whovians.

Silly question but what do you actually do at the meetings @ Adelaide High, I noticed it goes from 3pm till 10pm? That's enough time for a serious movie marathon What other activities do others get up to there and is there any structure to the meeting?

Depends on what's happening at the time.  Sometimes we watch movies/tv shows til our eyeballs bleed, and other times we just sit and talk about anything and everything, or play the occasional board game.  There's no real structure to the meetings, we take a fairly relaxed attitude to most things.  Generally if people want to do something, we tend to do it.

Thanks for that.

I guess it will be a case of 'spot the newbie' when I decide to pop in Maybe I should wear a disguise so I won't stand out
