Silver Nemesis gets it. If ever a story needed to be a 4 parter, that was it.  The whole plot didn't make sense and as the 'official' 25th anniversary story, it fell below par.

Terminus gets it as well.  A very dull mid-section to the Guardian trilogy, and it didn't really lead anywhere.

I'm not a big fan of Survival either, and Snakedance I find forgettable. I'll go with this assesment!

Terror of the Vervoids vs The Ambassadors of Death.

The Androids of Tara vs The Ark.

Terror of the Vervoids loses!  It was part of the Trial season and introduced Mel, such a bad choice!

Whilst I think that Ambassadors of Death is too long, it at least didnt have Bonnie Langford in it!!!

I'll go for The Ark as well.  The 1st Dr stories tried so hard to create good special effects and mostly failed.

The Androids of Tara was at least entertaining.

I find Androids to be the wekaest of season 16. They fins the piece of the Key right at the start, then get on with four episodes of a Prisoner of Zenda rip off. I'll go for The Ark.

Ambassadors over Terror, any day!

The Aztecs vs The Celestial Toymaker.

The Chase vs The Creature from the Pit.

I didn't like The Aztecs at all, was very dull and drawn out.

Celestial Toymaker was a great story.  Again I ask, what is it doing in the bad section???  The episode Ive seen of it was great.

I can hardly remember Creature from the Pit at all, although I do recall it being pretty silly - as befits most of the stories of Season 17.

Celestial Toymaker ran afoul of Caves of Androzani!

I'm happy to let it beat Aztecs, though. The Chase is on many people's worst ever lists, but without any strong feelings on your part I'll have it beat Creature. Which was silly.

The Curse of Fenric vs The Daleks.

The Dominators vs The Edge of Destruction.

Curse of Fenric was the worst of the 2.  The Daleks was an iconic story and set Dr WHo up for years to come.  Fenric was one of the better McCoy stories, but still below par.

I didn't like The Dominators at all, too slow moving.  Edge of Destruction at least had an interesting premise.

The Dominators whouldn't have missed another episde being chopped off it! Curse of Fenric is good by McCoy standards, but The Daleks is pretty good all round!

The Enemy of the World vs The Face of Evil.

The Greatest Show in the Galaxy vs The Gunfighters.

From what Ive seen, Enemy of the World seemed fairly slow going - so that gets my bad vote.

I actually quite like Greatest SHow in the Galaxy, definately one of my fave McCoy stories.  So The Gunfighters loses this round too.

I'm willing to stick up for The Gunfighters, but only so far! Enemy's not well served by the surviving episode, shame.

The Happiness Patrol vs The Horns of Nimon.

The Ice Warriors vs The Invasion of Time.

Happiness Patrol is the worst for sure. One of the big duds of the McCoy era.  Rubbish.

Horns of Nimon was at least entertaining.

Invasion of Time gets it.  A very wobbly story that didnt go anywhere.

Happiness Patrol vs Horns of Nimon! No, too close to judge, go with you!

Ice Warrirors beats Invasion of Time!

The Keys of Marinus vs The Long Game.

The Mark of the Rani vs The Massacre.

The Long Game was ok, so I'll put Keys of Marinus in the sin bin!!  Although it has to be said, that the story does sound interesting.

Mark of the Rani was reasonable, not great, but ok.

So The Massacre gets it too Im afraid!

I'd go either way with Keys or Long Game, but I know Jimmy likes Marinus, so we'll sin Long Game!

And he likes Mark...am I the only one to get into The Massacre?

The Mind of Evil vs The Monster of Peladon.

The Mutants vs The Power of the Daleks.

Mind and Monster were both turkeys of the  highest order!  But I'll go for Monster, as it failed to build on the good work they did with Curse of Peladon, and again showed how bad Season 11 was.

The Mutants gets the axe as well.  A story that was pretty forgettable.

I like it--but it's ball line for me, so Monster it is!

The Mutants probably wouldn't even have made a decent four parter...

The Rescue vs The Robots of Death.

The Savages vs The Seeds of Death.

I love Robots of Death, thats a great story.

So The Rescue gets the wipe from me Im afraid.

Seeds of Death was another good story, so The Savages can go back to their caves as far as Im concerned!!!!

The Rescue is good, but Robots is great! ANd I don't think ther'll be too many mourners for The Savages...

The Space Pirates vs The Stones of Blood.

I'll pick The Sensorites, because from the bits Ive seen of The SMugglers, it looked like a good yarn.

I didnt like The Space Pirates at all.  One of the very few duds written by Robert  Holmes.

Sensorites wins on it's own drawn out boring accord. And while I feel Space Pirates isn't as bad as the remaining episode indicates, Stones of Blood is actually pretty good!

The Tenth Planet vs The Time Meddler.

The Time Monster vs The Twin Dilemma.
