Okay, then by that reckoning; how about Frere Jaques or Bride of Islay ? Actually I suspect I have the second title incorrect. But they are songs in the folk consciousness, not songs written for or into films that have bombed and yet then implanted themselves into the social fabric. |

I don't recognize Bride of Islay, and Frere Jacques predates any other use of it. |

Yeah, sorry.I`m sure I got the title wrong but it`s the tune that Picard plays on his tin whistle after experiencing a full life time on a doomed planet after Enterprise encounters a space probe.I seem to remember the Isle of Islay features somewhere in the title. This,by the way, is in response to Tareths` Pop Goes The Weasel. It`s like citing Happy Birthday to You as a memorable song in an otherwise forgettable movie which is released after 1960. |

Good Grief ! I have a soul mate ! and here i was thinking i was all alone when suddenly,......
Seriously; without people like you and me, the rest of the world would unquestioningly set themselves the task of self destruction. Yes, we make mistakes and f*** up sometimes, but at least we ask questions. Maybe not the RIGHT questions, nor at the RIGHT time. But we DO ask them. Anyone reading this who is interested in AI please take note. Intelligence cannot be realised until mistakes are possible: It is that `leap of faith`! |
