As in the Suoerheroes but, a thought suddenly occurred to me.
I was also a fan of the X-Men and though I enjoyed the film version I would`ve preferred the original line-up. Even the inclusion of the original characters was disappointing, esp Cyclops; dull and boring and not in the least bit angst ridden. The Cyclops drawn on paper had far many more dimensions to him than the celluloid version. As for the TV series of Avengers, it`s been tried hasn`t it?
I didn`t see it but from the clips and reviews I surmise that not many people did.

I forgot about the Avengers movie with Uma Thurman and Sean Connery. Its wasnt good, even Sean Connery in a Kilt couldnt save it.

Obviously there is a good reason you forgot that one,... it was so forgetable.

Starsky & Hutch
Dukes Of Hazzards

I don`t think they can help themselves.
Think about it;.... Film execs sat around a table trying to think of ideas. Any new or radical ideas are too dangerous, they might flop. But tried and tested ideas are welcome. Just one snag: a lot of the good ideas were from ten, twenty, thirty or more years ago. They HAVE to be updated. Lets face it, the youngsters of today visit the cinema a couple of times a month if not twice a week. They have to cater to them.
The execs probably only get a Hit by pure accident.
