To add to your two questions, why are the daleks executing the Master in the 1996 movie, and then letting the McCoy doctor come and pick up the remains? This is supposed to be a tie in with Lungbarrow, but the novel reads like this last couple of pages is tacked on.

I've only seen the ones I cited. The Blue Death doesn't come near them!

I've not seen any of "The Stranger" stories or "The Airzone Solution" or "Probe" or the Auton movies........I remember reading reviews about them in Doctor Who magazine and thinking "That sounds interesting!", but I've not been able to get access to any of these programs. If anyone could loan me a copy, or if we could watch thm at an SFSA meeting, I would really like that.............

And I've got to see that classic "The Blue Death", it seems to have an infamous legacy within Who fandom in south Australia!!!!!



Sneb, you bought "Revelation of the Daleks"!!!! I could never work out if that story was supposed to be a comedy or actually a real Dr Who story

Davros involved in embezzlement, Alexi Sayle as a disc jockey, and a Ronin - like knight with his squire......I could never understand that story, and I watched the last half hour twice and I still couldn't follow how everything got blown up and The Doctor won (?).

...........By the way, the Daleks had no problem recognising The Doctor in Resurrection of the Daleks (classic story), but they needed to use a mind probe on Pertwee to identify him as the Doctor in Day of The Daleks.....why do we keep getting these inconsistincies??????

I just happen to have 'some copies' of the Airzone Solution and the Stranger Series. Will have to arrange getting you a copy Jimmy. Even though the production values are even more dodgy than Doctor Who Colin Baker's acting ability still shines through



Revelation is quite a strange one! On the net it is cited as the second best in Season 23 after Vengance On Varos. But the story is hard to follow, there are way too many characters, a weak finish, and lots of pointless events (i.e. the end of episode one with the statue falling on the Doctor. Saward said JNT demanded he write a part in the story with a statue no matter if it contributed to the story or not)

I felt it had the potential to be a classic and it would have been far better if they explored the differences and conflict between the new race of Daleks and old race.
