The 1967 Spider-man cartoon, considered definitive by a generation of Spidey fans, returns to free to air TV in Australia!
Spider-man, noted for poor animation, the use of the Division 4 theme as incidental music, and the image of Spidey apparently swinging from clouds over the city during the titles, screens weekdays at 7:00 am during Cheez TV on the Ten network.
In other Spidey news, Thomas Haden Church has been cast as a villain in the third Columbia Spider-man feature. This is rumoured to feature Venom, but Church's character has yet to be confirmed.
Marina Bruno, Programming Assistant for Ten Adelaide has confirmed this is scheduled for Monday-Wednesday for at least the next three weeks. "Spider-Man's always a classic favourite," she said.
