25/04/2008 07:44 GMT

Posted by Martin

Blakes 7 will be remade by UK broadcaster Sky.

After years of speculation and rumours, a revival was announced in 2003 only to fall through.  Blakes 7 Productions, the licence holder of the rights will work in conjunction with Sky.

hooray at last, about time!!

I would only hope that some former cast members do at least appear in it.

Would Paul Darrow be a possibility??

Probably not; his company Blakes 7 Enterprises seems to be a rival to Blakes 7 Productions/Media, unless the press statement's wrong. If anyone knows the story about the rights to this show?
