As the protracted bidding negotiations dust cloud clears, it has left Ten's funky youth oriented digital only channel the lucky bidder.
Fans may be horrified in light of Ten's 2007 Torchwood adventure. This saw the show scheduled after Big Brother on Monday nights, leading to a variable starting time. On 7 August (They Keep Killing Suzie) they moved the show to a midnight Tuesday slot. The following year series two was played on TenHD, to very low ratings, partly due to a low take up of high digital receivers.
This is not the case this time. Eleven is set up to maintain schedules no matter how cult the programme. Torchwood Confidential is unlikely to be purchased as well.

Given today's announced cuts, not surprising ABC didn't buy Torchwood.
